Summary
In a bustling city hospital, a young woman named Maha anxiously awaits news of her mother’s surgery. Suddenly, a nurse approaches, demanding payment before the operation can proceed. Fearful for her mother’s life, Maha rushes to her workplace, a local school, to borrow money from her employer. However, her plea is coldly rejected, leaving her desperate and alone.
Returning to the hospital empty-handed, Maha begs the doctor to start the surgery, promising to find the money. Just then, a kind stranger, Rafey Dawood, arrives, having been contacted by Maha’s mother. He assures Maha that he will cover the medical expenses.
As the surgery takes place, Maha learns the truth about Rafey – he was a close friend of her late father and has come to fulfill a promise to care for her in times of need. With her mother’s passing, Rafey insists on taking Maha into his home, despite the strong objections of his wife, Kiran.
Maha finds herself in a luxurious mansion, surrounded by Rafey’s hostile family. Kiran, a wealthy and arrogant woman, sees Maha as a burden and constantly belittles her. Rafey’s children, the rebellious Arham and the kind-hearted Anjum, react differently to Maha’s presence.
In this unfamiliar and often cruel environment, Maha must learn to navigate the complexities of family, wealth, and social status. Despite facing constant insults and challenges, she remains determined to honor her mother’s memory and find her place in the world.
