Summary
In the heart of Lahore, a young woman named Maryam yearns for a life beyond the confines of her traditional home. She dreams of a world filled with art, recognition, and freedom, but her mother, Mama Jaan, holds her back with old-fashioned beliefs and contentment with their simple life. Maryam’s frustration grows with each passing day, fueled by the limitations she sees around her.
Meanwhile, in the bustling city of Karachi, a young and successful businessman, Zaid Adab, seeks innovation and creativity for his textile factory. He finds himself drawn to the artistic world, a passion that was ignited during his college years. Zaid’s path crosses with Maryam’s when he collaborates with her college on a textile design project.
As Maryam and Zaid work together, their contrasting personalities and aspirations clash. Maryam’s desire for recognition and a better life conflicts with Zaid’s focus on business and his growing interest in his cousin, Sophia, a beautiful and talented model.
Amidst their professional collaboration, a series of unexpected events and personal struggles challenge Maryam and Zaid’s beliefs and choices. Maryam’s determination to break free from her traditional life and Zaid’s pursuit of both artistic innovation and personal happiness lead them on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Will Maryam find the courage to pursue her dreams and escape the suffocating grip of her mother’s expectations? Can Zaid reconcile his passion for art with the demands of his business and his evolving feelings for Sophia? As their lives intertwine, Maryam and Zaid must confront their desires, beliefs, and the unexpected turns that fate has in store for them.
